John has been a youth pastor since 1995 and became Alton Baptist's youth pastor in 2014. With more than a decade of ministry, he has previously served at Salem Baptist Church and First Baptist in Shelbyville, where he still lives. Together they have three daughters: two identical twins (Savannah and Mackenzie) who are both Kentucky public school teachers, and Madeline (Maddy) who will be starting college in the fall of 2021 to study worship.
